Delhi Metro is public rail transportation system in Delhi. It is managed by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited. Delhi metro was started on 24 December, 2002. First line for metro route was Shahdara to Tis Hazari.

List of Delhi Metro Color Line
314 km Delhi Metro is divided in 8 color line. Each line intersect each other so, anyone can travel a place to another in less time and minimum rail changes.
- Red Line of Delhi Metro
It is first metro line to open for public at 24 December, 2002. Now, It is 25.9 KM long metro line and it cover 21 metro Station from Dilshad Garden to Rithala.
- Yellow Line of Delhi Metro
Yellow Line was started on 20 December, 2004. It is 49.31 KM Long and cover 37 station from Samaypur Badli to HUDA city centre.
- Blue Line of Delhi Metro
Blue line is divided in 2 part. First one, is 49.84 KM and covered 44 metro Station from Noida city Centre to Dwarka Sector 21. Second line is 8.74 KM and covered 8 station from Yamuna Bank to Vaishali.
- Green Line of Delhi Metro
Green line is also divided in two part. One part is 26.32 KM long and cover 21 Station from Inderlok to Bahudurgarh City Park. Second part is only 3.32 KM Long and cover 2 station – Ashok Park main and Kirti nagar.
- Violet Line of Delhi Metro
DMRC started violet line on 3 October, 2010. It is 43.40 KM long and cover 32 stations from Kashmere gate to Escorts Mujesar.
- Orange Line of Delhi Metro
Orange line is 22.70 KM long but cover only 6 station from New Delhi to Dwarka Sector 21. It is also known as Airport Line.
- Pink Line of Delhi Metro
Pink line is in two part. One part is from Majilis park to Lajpat Nagar which cover 29.66 KM route of 18 stations. Second part is 17.86 KM long and cover 15 metro stations.
- Magenta Line of Delhi Metro
It is 37.46 KM long and cover 25 metro station from Botanical garden to Jankpuri West.
